Hence why i said possibly a new event is required or a function needs to be exposed. Same thing happens to modules which need new hooks though.

Yes, the logic is the same. There's just a lot a module can do that doesn't need hooks which is why I said what I said.

Imo if half the code was decent and properly documented you wouldn’t need modules

There isn’t anything sane with the C++ scripting system either and idk why everything seems to be rewritten in whatever latest and useless C++ features for no good reason either. A lot of systems are looking like dev playgrounds.

Yes but if you scrapped modules you'd have to distribute core patches for everything and that's just not user-friendly. Distributing a module that a user can simply add and run is a whole lot easier.
