ID shouldn't matter but when I've got everything initiated I'll go through the TaxiNodes.dbc and get the ID, the name is "Goldshire, Elwynn Forest". I even specified coordinates by the NPC but since replaced with the coordinates of the NPC and going to test.

look specifically for another node with that other name in that same dbc. Since flightmasters naively pick up the closest taxinode, there might be something there overriding yours for whatever reason. I've done some work with custom flightpaths, and I don't recognize that strange naming issue

I don't need to check to know there isn't one with the same name, this is WOTLK and Blizzard never added a Goldshire Gryphon Master until Cata.

looks like there actually is one called that, maybe you have a discrepancy between your client and server dbcs?
