I see, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you do for the port forwarding? There's like a bunch of stuff I apparently need to set up and I'm trying to grasp what exactly I need to set up

I'll see if I can get something out of it, I was trying to use the web interface of my router but it just has a bunch of things I need to set up, and it's not even like I select a port to forward, it gaves me WAN/LAN port ranges i need to set up, WAN host IP range and LAN Host IP address which im assuming is just going to be my external IP

You shouldn't need to setup those things, they should already be defined. But it depends on where you are looking of course, and of course what kind of router and such
