since last week discussion im considering rewriting it to be processed in memory which would eliminate need for parser but im not able to tell how feasible it is and i dont want to put 100 hours into it just to discover that it doesnt work

I guess if no one can give you the answer to that it's either try it or don't. If it doesn't work out that obviously sucks but still.

Would you even need to rewrite the entire thing before you know if it's feasible? I mean, get to the point where it is right now or can you keep it a bit simpler and still judge if it's worth pursuing or not?

right now im just listening to events and storing them in DB and each of them in its own "pipeline" whereas to process it in memory i would probably need to remove this (which makes up like 90% of code) and instead of that create synchronization and groupping logic and then store it in DB
