i can't propose that, you _have_ kind of fucked your source tree, i can just give you alternatives.
1. Add a message to your pr box that implicitly, commits to trinity/mangos files is gplv2 regardless of what files say, as long as contributors understand what they commit and that maybe things are a little broken.
2. Change back all the trinity/mangos files to gplv2 and pretend like this didn't happen, take any issues with your own contributors
3. Nuke agpl from your project entirely, same as 2.

that would've been 6 years ago, and many of the current contributors, including myself, wasnt here at the start. Many contributors including me, didnt even know what a license was or what it intailed before like a while ago. Many just contributed for fun, like me

by 1 (the only thing _i_ really care about), you make sure that whenever a contributor makes a pull towards azerothcore, any file that originally comes from trinity/mangos they _implicitly_ have to license as gplv2-or-later

I'd like to say that AC is one of the only core that directly distributes Blizzard assets, most emulators ask for the users to extract DBC data, AC provides a direct link to download them
That's a major breach of copyright

Imma tap out of the license debate. It is nothing I can deal with atm. I do what I do for fun at the little time I have. Today I just wanted to try make the people of all communities happy, but I understand why it is harder than I thought, therefore I dont have time for it
