at this point I would recommend debugging the mesh generated by mmaps... which is not simple to do at all... there is a way to create .OBJ files and load them into recast visualiser... but...
A easier workaround may just be to disable pathfinding for creatures in this area. `CREATURE_FLAG_EXTRA_IGNORE_PATHFINDING` = `536870912` in `creature_template.flags_extra`

Yes.
Map data = holds area information, zones, flying, FFA, etc
vmaps = vector maps, used to calculate LoS and such
mmaps = movement maps, used for pathfinding. mmaps generates a low poly version of the world to raycast and pathfind in

Here is one example of an issue I debugged. Npcs would bug out walking up the ramp. So I had to fix it up manually
