I know modeldata ties to sound info and soundinfo its own columns but when I tried to put a footstep audio file in it didnt seem to work so didnt know if there was another place I should be looking

CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc takes an ObjectEffectPackageID.
ObjectEffectPackage.dbc stores package id and descriptive names for effect packages
ObjectEffectGroup.dbc stores effect group id and descriptive names
ObjectEffectPackageElem.dbc links these together with an animation on which the effect should trigger
ObjectEffect.dbc contains the behavior for that entry, such as playing a sound while moving.
