And tbh I haven't sern any retroporter that handles chunked anim files properly. Hence why I tend to restore them

Hmm yeah, I just assumed since the converter doesn't know chunks it would just set all offsets to the start of the file, assuming stripping the header was enough when converting them anim files.
So I thought I would just fix the anim files to be the wotlk version by having the data at 0 in the file and they should just fit with the converted m2.

Nah. The one coverter that was by callumsomeone only handled conversion if anim files only had afm2 chunk
