I've never exactly understood how farclip distance interacts with zone fog farclip, always found it stupid increasing graphical setting makes the intended local fog farclip different

it's stupid that it modifies the zones that are supposed to have very close fog like duskwood and tirisfal

the farclip increases the terrain render distance and the max distance you can see mountains through the fog iirc. But you still need to increase fog distance in the light dbcs to actually see farther

Hmm or my memory is ...foggy. I know I changed farclip to 10000 and increased fog distance per zone based on the initial value to keep fogs foggy for me.
