this is the hobo fix version as said -> no glare (you can see it in the second screenshot, where the white moon glares through the clouds) and fixed color... moon2 appears rather bright during the day, but blue in the night

The color alpha is affected by light bands so fixed color might even look better, you can notice it in more in darker or lighter zones

i tried it with copying over the color value from moon1, but it looked wonky imo... bc moon1 has the same value as the sun during the day as you noted (actually always, but only one of them is visible at once anyway ^^).
this way moon2 does not turn yellow during the day, but keeps being white at least
