Also if you start with gameplay functions / LUA function I would not compare to 0.5.3

The naming is fairly outdated

Which would you recommend? And would it be harder to start with Gidhra? (besides not having a 335 db to start with)

I would not recommend to use ghidra, the decompiler is terrible and you'll save a ton of time using IDA in the long run.

How do you go with naming things that are different or non existing in the leaked builds? Best guess?

I prefix them with some indicator so I know it is not a official name, but usually when you know the naming schema you can come up with something that makes sense.

there should be both a ghidra for 0.5.3 and 4.1.0 in releases from me... it's just not ida ^^

both ida and ghidra have their benefits.
starting with ghidra is not absolutely bad, since you still will learn a lot.
in the future when i have progressed my 335a repo a lot more i will release that too and do a video of how i started out, how i found function matches etc... will not be 100% covering all my tiny steps i have taken (since i can't remember them all) but should give a nice starting point on how to think to solve re tasks.
this will still take some time to get it done, but was a goal of mine from the start.
precise re resources are kinda hard to get by lmao
