I guess if you have limited time and a goal you are chasing in order to fix something you'll burn eventually out because the progress you will make your first weeks or months is really really limited.

Is there a public download for the alpha db which i can use for comparison? And is the TOM_RUS's db for 335 the most advanced one i could get to start?

Might have been posted here, you can also find it on ownedcore I think. TOM_RUS IDB is a good starting point but it is also really just a handful of structs and named LUA functions.
