the client is about 7.5 million bytes, let's say a line of code is like 30? bytes on average we'd be looking at 250k lines

The biggest thing is the structures imo with wow, once you kind of figure out how they're doing things, it becomes much easier to figure most of the things out

I very much enjoy seeing the changes <@285139092516372480> makes for Acension, I don't personally play, but definitely good improvements to the playing experience for those that do

there is value in going all the way of 100% decompiled and remaking it, but in between, not really

I'd agree with Robin here, once you get the foundation reversed, having the full source to "recompile" it is probably worse
