ah the issue was just that the struct wasn't initialized ? so you haven't actually fixed the initialization, you're just memory editing its structure to enable it live ?

exactly... just as a quick test for debugging.
the struct is initialized for all 3 things (sun and moons), it is just that the 4th block of 4 bytes is always zero for some reason, whatever it holds.

Maybe Daemon/Robin can help, you found the cause of why it's not rendering which is probably the hardest

would the fix be as simple as finding where it's initialized and changing it ?

I wonder if that's some new data related to weather interaction. have you tested it with rain/snow ?

Talking about them, the problem for rendering GFX in Noggit was that we don't know the noise pattern used by the client? Or that + performance? Maybe they could find that noise pattern or the method for spawning them

it's not only initialized, it is updated constantly.
guess the function for updating those bytes for sun and moon1 does either not do it for moon2, or it fucks up and writes the value which should go to moon2 to moon1 or some retarded shit.

by gfx you mean particles ? Old noggit renders particles decently, reason it's disabled in red is because skarn was reworking it, as other things
