I've heard other projects trying to pay for said feature to be completed and it falling through.. and if it's a huge pain in the ass I would bet people.. *like myself* would definitely chip in to expedite the process in getting such a feature added.

I have some basic ideas for it, the hardest thing would be rendering them accurately

I thought of this panel where you could bind texture to ground effect settings that are auto applied when painting, or on export

honestly this would be pretty simple but there's probably a lot of roadblocks and things i'm not thinking of.

it's notorious for crashing the client where it references non existing layer, noggit hackifixes this by filling layer count
