Never heard of collision locking as a term here, it does not seem correct as to what happens in your explaination.

the "worked on terrain and doodads" is what's confusing me if that's supposed to be the models moving with the terrain

so based on how the objects are placed, it just looks like a height lock, doesn't look like it's following terrain normals/angle

I would think collision locking in the sense he described it would be to enable collision when placing objects so it can't be pulled beneath or through the terrain, or other objects like wmo's

we weren't talking about placing objects, I was clearly talking about objects moving when sculpting terrain
