As others mentioned
a) TC rewrote systems since the AC fork to make their base systems cleaner. AC does not have these rewrites (yet?)
b) AC merges PRs even though the implementation is sometimes.. at least questionable. Best example is e.g. the firework script that got discussed lately which contained an extremely huge array full of coordinates which should not belong in the code. Often it's easier to implement a clean system from scratch than finding and throwing out bad code and re-implement it on a not ideal base

https://github.com/azerothcore/azerothco...pull/18860 instead of throwing all these things into a database table and only load it when needed (and unload when not needed anymore which is basically most days of the year), they add several thousand lines of code for it which stays in RAM the entire time

I think you should use whatever suits your needs, AC doesn't add any value to my use, so I prefer TC

There's definitely things that annoy me with TC as well, but the lack of content focus isn't one of them

Yeah, you can still do a great project based on AC

In the end it all depends on your needs and how much time (or money) you want to invest

First off... Fuck I want to rip my eyes out after seeing all those lines of code.
Second, thank you <@138006906915651585> for explaining it all.

Is it easier to make stuff in C++ for TC than AC?

Depends on your C++ knowledge but both probably have pros and cons. I'd probably give them the same level of difficulty based on your C++ knowledge
