Yea, start everything from scratch, spend 10 years recreating a 20 year old game just to be 10 years behind and have it all come to nothing.

I started a "cheap" tier base server during the high point of tier style private servers and have 15 fleshed out tier dungeons with armor, weapons, quests, farming zones, etc. and I've since just been trying to push my limits for new features, goals, tasks for my hypothetical players.
