[DiscordArchive] probably a dumb question but how do I add or change a texture on an item like a shield?

Man I am too tired to be giving advice. I am going to head to bed. But crow you're going to need it's texture blp and you can modify it with photoshop i think it suports blp files. If not convert it to png and edit then convert back.

I mean, i know that much, I was just wondering if its like creaturedisplayinfo and a m2 that a blp can be assigned to put over via dbc

For the texture of it should be. take the shield_1h_felfireraid_d_01.m2 for example if you modify the texture shield_1h_felfireraid_d_01_green. Change the colors etc to it you can save it as a new blp file doesn't matter the name and put it as the texture in the dbc for the model and show work. If I am not mistaken.

```sql
-- This assumes you have a database with your dbc data in it labeled 'dbc', and it assumes you run it from your world database.
select *
from dbc.itemdisplayinfo
where ID IN
(select displayid from item_template where entry = 12345)
```
This is what I use. Replace the `12345` with the item entry you want to find the textures for. The value you'll be looking for is `LeftModelTexture`
