gonna write a variable in player for "base healing" and update it in the new healing function in player.cpp and use that for the items spelldamageandhealing update function over in unit.cpp

You can use the old stat type for spell healing with item enchantment through spells as well

SpellBaseDamageBonusDone and SpellBaseHealingBonusDone had to be updated to allow the custom functions for spell healing and spell damage
