Does anybody know the flag or the method that makes melee abilities in the spell book overwrite themselves and cannot show multiple ranks? It actually unlearns the ability and replaces it. I am trying to stop that from happening. Its not the spell attribute flag "ability" and its not the skilllineability.dbc superceededby column. Any other ideas on where to check that flags that?

think it's a hardcode on melee classes, but could be wrong

hmm, Im a mage and it still applies to this class. If I unlearn rank 1, all other ranks also disappear, and if I learn a specific rank, all previous ranks also get learnt.

the last part^ is probably just serverside handling but still wonder why it disappears client side

It might not be the superceededbyspell column, but have you tried trivialskillinerankhigh? it, for example, connects rank 1 charge to rank 2 charge as the higher rank on ID 6058

I have a custom melee class Warden that has spells and melee abilities. The spells show all ranks and thr melee ones do not. So it's being caught somewhere

I agree its client side,
