100ms is pretty high since we often work with full migrations and many of our users serialize like 50 dbcs every run

Still seems wild that would slow down development. An extra second over 100 dbcs is negligible imo

seconds are definitely crucial for our workflows since they add up, i've bothered rewriting large chunks of the world startup just to shave off like 3-4 seconds
