yes. you can also test it by spawning the creature and then loading the ui. That should also work.

How does the addon make the connection to show the display data from your spawned creature though.

I guess it always attempts to load the model from cache or something and does not look into dbc. Not sure how the client usually works. :/

Add-ons are only given the cache of the client not the dbc for creatures. Dumb it is what it is
