If you wanted to make tabards work, you would have to change those. Which would break all other chest textures in the game

Hmm. But I could maybe make a hackfix shirt or something work as a spell attachment to be non symetrical?

Some people have used attachment points for adding stuff like belts, but I don't think that would work with tabards. Because attachment are tied to one "bone" in the character (belts using the pelvis bone), but the chest has many bones, so if you attached a tabard model it would probably break when the character was bending or stretching their torso

Attachments not needed in Cata for belts since belt buckles exists by default.
But anyway I want to add like the drip jacket/supreme shirt combo somehow. But maybe wouldnt be worth the work.

Only used belts as an example, since it's a neat hackfix that works in older xpacks as well

If I attached a tabard model to the chest attachment point, chances are the tabard would clip through the character model when I was looting

Hmm. Couldn’t you just make it like 1% larger so default one wouldnt be beneath?

It's more drastic, picture the loot animation, the whole upper body is bending. Lower torso stands straight, but the upper is bending over. The tabard model would only rotate along with the part that is bending over
