lets say. every mysql installation is portable by default. its just a matter of setting the data path

Very true its just a matter of easy database run. but if this causes troubles i delete the message

looking at the github link, it looks like a tool to start/stop the server
in which case i repeat my question, why? all it does is replaces builtin windows service management (services.msc) with 3rd party software
