So I know I got an answer to "use certbot" but I'm not sure what that means
I have the server running on windows 10 and I'd like to set up the certificate so that other people can connect from WAN

it's usually tied to your webserver software, but it can be run in 'standalone' mode, which just generates the certificates and puts them in a directory of your choice for you to be able to access them
