Yeah, k8s is moving to fast with the new versions, and your software/deployment needs to move alongside with it. And vendors (aws, azure, gcp…) forcing you to update the cluster, that is annoying indeed.

Agree, but they do have some backwards compatibility with depreciation strategy. But this dependency on vendors that forcing you to use three latest versions gives to companies like several months to get rid of deprecated functions. And for some companies it’s not enough

i only figured out that it was a version problem because at some point i was so frustrated that i just deleted everything and tried to do it again
