On paper, there shouldn't be much of a difference. Adding these extra layers might add 1-2ms of delay, but in general, it's worth trying (for high-load projects).

I know its not made for that but recently i had to port a whole k3s x86 server with a few hundred pods etc. to a arm server. Dont ask why but I had to include everything. pods etc. non only persistent data

You ported it to another k8s cluster but this time with arm? Sounds like you just need to reapply all k8s objects, if images have arm tag then should work out of the box

at that time i was trying to setup the software in k8s in azure with the newest k8s version.. funny thing is.. the newest version didn't work but when i did re-setup the k8s service and used a older version and not the newest, it worked tho... the error messages were pretty generic and not helpful tho
