if you want to only edit some spell properties on the server and don't need the result visible in spell tooltips then you can either edit Spell.dbc and use that on the server or make your changes in SpellMgr::LoadSpellInfoCorrections in code

tooltips in spell book/action bar would be wrong but buff frame will show correct remaining duration
