Most servers who actually do injections or other shenanigans just don't support mac clients so

really depends on the mod tbh, in a lot of cases I'd rather do a binary mod, but implementing new packets as an example you're better off injecting it

if you have asm code anyways it doesnt matter because you can just add it to the binary

People do that on private servers all the time, heck, you don't even need a modified binary to do it

Yeah, and I'm confirming that people do binary edits and distribute modified binaries all the time People don't care about running arbitrary code from whatever source, look at how many people spin up some half-assed repack with who knows what added to it
