I'm mostly aiming for those folks who are not involved with the development process at all and just ask for fixes and refusing to participate even when given a hand to join. There have been plenty of opportunities where we gave people instructions to help and they just went 'nah, I just wait'.

so please don't get me wrong. This was me using a slang to highlight that even those who are way out of the loop can be somehow of help

If I take a gap semester or don't manage to land an internship I might spend some time organizing commits and verifying PRs just to learn my way around git & github
