I find it quite rude to say that. Working with TC isn't exactly easy, classes tens of thousands long that have organically grown into god classes with little oversight. No modern programming principles followed. Undocumented and untested code.
I don't blame the maintainers. I don't blame anyone. People just have different interests and priorities in this niche genre.

And apparently there are users who have interest in getting 335 updated. And doing things like boring paperwork such as collecting commits still is a contribution even if it only helps organizing the process
