I think you're not seeing the bigger picture, this isn't specific to emulation but everything in life. People are by nature inherently lazy, when you give people a tool that can provide them with usually the right answer, especially as it evolves over time, you're enabling a problem. Critical thinking is such an important life skill but when you have the option to ask even the most trivial of questions or challenges to an AI you've become reliant on it. It _will_ be a problem, even if it's not already.

I do believe there is a difference between "here's access to the world's knowledge, go crazy" and "here's a tailored specific answer to your specific niche question that is exactly everything you want in whatever format you need"
