E.g. the flight master from Dalaran to the airship of the respective faction (they fly in Icecrown). Works in azeroth core but not in TC, then I deactivated a quest line in Icecrown because it is not working at the moment.

I can understand your point of view, but if the result then corresponds to the original, nothing should stand in the way of implementing it after appropriate testing

I was told that AC and TC used to work together until something happened and they split up and the split came about. how much of this is true or not I can't say.

Like I said, someone once told me. It's been a long time and I can't say who it was. The person said the TC project emerged from AC, although others say it was a fork from the earlier Mangos project.
I used mangoes years ago when it was good until a lot of developers left the project and now you don't see that much there because there aren't any developers anymore. You can also see any scripts that are not fully developed yet.

It was more so ac didn’t want to be be tc anymore so they branched off I believe
