I retroported the timeless island (openworld) with its npcs and when I pull the boss and walk to the edge of the arena the boss resets which is not the case on Blizzard's retail servers. so I thought there was a way to control it.

On the Blizzard server, the NPCs are sometimes half an eternity behind you when you have aggro in the open world

or actually, its a modifier of how far the creature will aggro (if you are out of combat)

Mhh ok, but as I said on the Blizzard servers, the mobs follow you for a very long time before they let you go, so I thought this could be stopped.
