What do you think about *keeping* the `dockerdist` files rather than removing them entirely? It might be better/easier to scale in case more docker-specific changes are needed. IE, looping through all of the parameters in `foo.dockerdist` and replacing them from the `.dist` file, and then copying that into .conf

I'm sure there's room for improvement with the docker implementation since absolutely no resident AC dev uses it.

The "real" fix is to copy the proper dist file, since it has all the correct settings, then modify the conf file
