the post-build script just copies the .dist files to the conf directory

ah. So that function is only executed when building through the bash dashboard and the docker install, if I'm understanding correctly

as far as I'm aware, it is only ran for the automated build checks through ci

I honestly have no idea how the current docker setup works for ac, I just stumble through the scripts whenever I have to actually check something specific
