I only need a virtual machine with Windows, to be able to make the video. Let it be clean. I connect via remote desktop, and make the video. As if I rented a machine, and wanted to start building a community.

You're contradicting yourself. We're saying create a VM (a virtual machine) and use it to show how to do it from scratch regardless of if you're hosting it yourself or renting it and you say that's not what you want, and now you say that's what you want. I'm confused.

Hey <@234784691608092682> how's the playerbot testing going? Are you at a point where you would recommend either playerbots or npcbots? Just curious since I'm using npcbots and you mentioned the other day testing playerbots.

I would say npcbots before but nowadays I prefer playerbots. Strategies alone make it more appealing to me. I downed noth, heigan and razuvious in naxx yesterday without breaking a sweat because of it and I'm trying to help out by implementing dungeon-specific strategies but it just won't work the way it should (yet).

Oh nice! I was thinking about that same thing today! Are there any hidden auras you could use to run a lua script (or however playerbots use strategies) when you enter dungeons/raids? Maybe a coordinate check? Bots use "normal" strats till a certain check happens, then they use the enhanced strats? I'm just theorizing, I haven't ventured real far into yet.

I would definitely say that Playerbots are on the cusp of overtaking NPCbots now if they haven't already. There are still some things like AB and AV not functioning well yet, though WSB seems to be, but otherwise they are working quite well aside from the future goal of adding specific strategies for dungeons/raids beyond naxx

You trigger strategies by typing in party chat. For naxx you just type "naxx" and they load naxx-specific strats. After that, they run on triggers that trigger when something happens. Say the boss casts something, a trigger returns true and the bots do what they're told to. There aren't too many strategies implemented yet but hopefully that'll change soon.

It's much more enjoyable being able to inspect their gear and trade like normal players vs the gossip menu for gearing for sure.
