Thanks for the response, and yes I edited the table in HeidiSQL to use the LAN IP

What exactly is the issue that you're having? You say you're having problems trying to connect but that's not really specific enough. Are you getting a connecting and then failed to connect, are you getting stuck at the realm selection screen or what?

All you do is change acore_auth.realmlist, **not** the default values, to use the new IP (in this case LAN IP) and it should work
