Squashes are just mandatory to check out, because you'd potentially skip db updates and break everything.

Yeah I will have to make some sql files, so I can reproduce my "changes" easily after updating the DB.. that is a smart idea! I'm working with PHP website development with MySQL all day long, but as I'm working in a "small" company I have control over everything and making full backups before major updates.. though when I think of it, I have scripts that is making these things already.. why I haven't applied this to the game server, I don't know

mainly I think it is because I'm running this server completely off the "grid"... no one except me is playing on the server
