My point is that the point of them *is* to override the dbc files. It wouldn't serve any purpose if it was the other way around.

i know im just pointing out that its not always case bcs some dbcs are not read at all

I know, I have to deal with stupid error messages due to item template changes even with the "enforcement" turned off. You'd think those error messages would only be shown if it's enabled but whatever.
