Another bonus is it's, in my opinion, a lot easier to automate every step of AzerothCore on Linux compared to Windows.

Hi! Quick question here.
I'm looking to create some custom features, and I'm in doubt about using C++ modules or Eluna scripts.
Is there any downside about Eluna in terms of scope? Or does it have access to pretty much everything you would have using modules?
Thanks!

C++ is a little more robust and will have better access to game data, but Eluna tends to be easier to pick up or debug and doesn't require a re-compile. If you are just making custom features for your own use, Eluna should be fine if you are more familiar with Lua. If you're making a public module to share with others, C++ might be the best option.

Thank you! For now I'll stick to Eluna until I get better with C++. I'd love to contribute one day!
