i can see the struggle but to be fair (and this is not only about AC) point of docs is not to teach u how to setup OS or DB etc but only the thing that the docs is about

Frankly, Arch is most likely not widely used here either so support is, kind of like docker, limited.

I *kind of* understand that, just a shame that there's an expectation of being competent with SQL and other relatively specialized skills for this. With some more in-depth guides this could be a lot more accessible. I even felt this way a bit when setting up the server in Windows.

I'd just search google for a tutorial on mariadb for arch and follow that to get it all set up. There's no specific instructions for azerothcore.
