you should be able to, for sure yes.
if you're starting fresh, i'd personally recommend you go with my branch that is currently being reviewed for inclusion in the main project. it adds the ability to set stuff for all raid sizes, and can adjust the top and bottom of the difficulty curve to your liking.

this is the curve i'm doing for 5-mans right now. good difficulty solo but not impossible. the numbers on the graph indicate what the creature's health/mana/armor/damage get multiplied by.

ill check it out for sure! wish i knew the game better to be able to adjust some of these things myself. sadly, i don't know much about classic thru wotlk. playing a paladin just to be able to safely tank/have enough armour, and be able to self heal. hoping there aren't too many ranged mandatory bosses ill miss out on

if you're doing a solo server you've got lots of leeway to "cheat" if necessary. personally my warrior has the paladin cleanse spell and remove curve - most raids assume you can remove debuffs.

i was looking into the possibility of adding the ability to wear plate on non-plate classes, but looked like it needed some kind of client side patching as well? is adding simple spells just a matter of adding them to class trainers?

i tried the command with the spell id to add mail wearing on a druid. it didnt work the mail items had the text change from red to white, but i couldnt equip
