is there a simple way to totally disable grey item drops? i was hopeful that simply altering the worldserver drop rate for poor to 0 would do it. definitely didnt work. is it not possible without actually manually altering drop tables of every mob?

if you're using mod-transmog there's a change you'll have to make in mod-transmog's code, fyi

setting `Rate.Drop.Item.Poor` to 0 doesn't fully do it, unfortunately. that drop rate only affects items that are actually individually assigned to a creature's loot table. most look like grays are in reference lists that aren't affected by the setting. there is not a simple way (that i know of) to eliminate them entirely.

thats an interesting one, didnt see that. might just peek at it to see how he does it. i guess that makes sense though, was just looking at what "referenced" loot is. not using transmog. just individual prog, solocraft, and solo lfg (might remove this one though)

referenced loot is just a way for multiple creatures to share the same centralized loot table. like all the enemies in Molten Core share a referenced list that contains all the crafting recipes to be had in there, and they have a low-ish chance to drop something from the list each kill.

mod-autobalance is very fun for soloing dungeons, having a blast with it. another option is solocraft (which you're running) but i don't like that it throws my stats super out of wack and turns me into a crit machine. i'd rather nerf the baddies than buff my character. makes it feel less arbitrary (although its not, of course)

i did do some testing. made a test char, used commands to instant 20, went into RFC and DM. it did seem a bit OP. autobalance looks more interesting, just concerned about balance issues when trying solo raids later. i went with the op module just to play it safe. do you think i can solo play raids with autobalance?
