Hey folks, trying to learn some stuff but I'm having a hard time understanding. If I wanted to edit or modify data, why do you have to create a module & hook it into the database? I find it a bit confusing, whereas when it comes to modding, I'm using to being able to simply make changes to a game's config / data directly

I'm confused then. it was saying that if you say want to make a custom change that you shouldn't edit directly into the DB
