i mean when u want to customize things its generally recommended to do it in module unless its something that has to be done in core itself but there is not rly reason why u couldnt do that differently

It's correct that you should not apply changes directly to your database. You should create queries and save them in the `custom` folder of your data/SQL directories.
That way the core will use them everytime at startup and make sure that you're custom changes aren't overwritten by regular updates.

If you need core changes however, or something special with conditions or a config for your queries, you're better off with a module.
