Think of Thaddius for example. Removing the +/- mechanic makes the boss tank and spank. Not having an automated way to move dependand on the buff a character has makes it impossible.

I'd rather take the challenge to write that movement script than to remove the spells.

You could tune it. Make it less important without actually removing the mechanic as a whole.

It certainly is a matter of taste, but for my own taste i don't see the point of a mechanic which does nothing but a visual or a tad of additional healing.

It's a way away. I'm moving through patches and when I get to 3.0 I'll look at Naxxramas. It's one of the only raids I can do at that point anyway so I'll have to try.

You could make the punishment less severe. I'm not talking about 90% or even 100% removal. Test and tune.

If I could do half of dragon soul by myself I'm sure I can find a way to deal with Naxx without nerfing it to the ground

Eh... it sucked. I was told the hospital has free water in the dumpster out back if im thirsty. So i may consider my options here
