it was probably related to the old code, in the old version when Warden would receive a payload from the client with a custom id it would ignore the payload but never remove it from the buffer so maybe it got some desync at some point and it ended up malformed

Took longer than I expected to get into the game since it has changed a bit since last I used it and I simply just copied your functions to deal with sending the data. This time every single character got the patch notes though so that's good.
