Unless the way to run the classic wotlk client is by patching the exe and dll and simply running the exe, they can keep it - using a launcher just feels so ghetto to me. I would like AC to support the classic client as a separate branch eventually but either way there's no way I'd pick TC over AC.

believe me, you are not the only one. just the amount of rework to the client is a huge undertaking for it to work without the aid of a launcher that modifies the temp files and appdata files on the fly.

amd with wotlk classic still technically evolving\updating, it would make zero sense to attempt anything on a inprogress expansion
